Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Seven Hills: Amenities

Due to the rainfall from the previous days, the job site remained saturated with excessive moisture. To address this, the contractor began scarifying and aerating surficial soils using various dozer equipment.  The site will be allowed to aerate throughout the day in anticipation of beginning grade work again tomorrow.

Savannah Pipeline Company has initiated the installation of stormwater lines at the amenities job site, located between the clubhouse and tennis court area. Excavation work was being carried out using the Kobelco SK350LC excavator. Compaction efforts are being executed with a Hamm Shoe Toe compactor and a remote-controlled compactor.

For the day’s progress, the installation of manholes A1, A2, A2A, and A3 has been successfully completed.
