Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Seven Hills: Amenities

Due to the rainfall from the previous days, the job site remained saturated with excessive moisture. To address this, the contractor continued to scarify and aerate surficial soils using various equipment.

Savannah Pipeline Company has initiated the installation of stormwater lines at the amenities job site, located between the clubhouse and tennis court area. Excavation work is being carried out using the Kobelco SK350LC excavator. Compaction efforts are being executed with a Hamm Shoe Toe compactor and a remote-controlled compactor.

For the day’s progress, the installation of manholes A4, A18, B1, B2 has been successfully completed.

As part of the ongoing site preparation, the removal of trees has been completed, clearing the area for further work. Additionally, grading operations have been started.
