Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

• Lot #974 basement rebar inspection

A in-place rebar inspection was completed for the basement of Lot #974. The reinforcement was found to meet job specifications for size, spacing and quantity. However, ice was observed on several sections of the rebar.  It was recommended to the contractor to remove the ice from the rebar and to demuck the footing areas where water/mud was encountered prior to concrete placement.
