Observations/Finding

The aforementioned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to monitor drilling and rock removal operations. The contractor performing the work was Precision Blasting. The following observations were made on-site:

Drilling Data:

Today the drilling continued south of manhole A1 as this was where the contractor had ended operations on the previous day. The drill was making contact with rock around the 14-to-16-foot range on average. Hole spacing was 6 feet with approximately 8 feet between each drilling location. The contractor then transitioned drilling to lateral 123 just west of Lot #124. In this location the drill made contact with rock on average at 10 feet, but in two locations at a depth of 3 feet. Drilling was visually inspected for straight path drilling.
