Observations/Finding

At the request of the client, AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to observe construction material testing and earthwork activities. However, due to the current site conditions, no work was performed.

• The site was extremely muddy with standing water and ice sheets throughout the area.
• Due to these conditions, it was impossible to perform any dirt work or compaction activities.
• The contractor did not perform any work on-site during this visit.
• The recommendation is to allow time for the site to dry before resuming earthwork operations.

Recommendations:

• Site conditions should be reassessed before scheduling further earthwork activities.
• Additional drying time may be necessary before proceeding with any soil placement or compaction.
