Observations/Finding

The aforementioned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to monitor drilling and rock removal operations. The contractor performing the work was Precision Blasting. The following observations were made on-site:

Drilling Data:

Today drilling operations took place between lot #192 and lot #54. The drilling pattern consisted of a trench pattern through the center and a mass rock pattern on either side of the trench. The trench was hitting depths of 23 ft while the mass rock pattern was hitting depths of 15-17ft on average. These drillings were preparation for the blast on the following Monday. Having these drilled on a Saturday ensured an efficient start to the week on Monday.
