Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Nature walk: Footings Inspection (Lot #34-Pod 23)

A Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) test was performed on two sides of Lot #34, revealing the presence of small stones and rocks

• Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) observations were recorded up to a depth of 4 feet below the ground surface, with the following details:

Southeast Side: It can be noted that the area to the Southeast of the job site corresponds to the Back of the site.

• • At 1 foot: 06 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)
  • At 2 feet: 07 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)
  • At 3 feet: 08 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)
  • At 4 feet: 08 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)

Northwest Side: It can be noted that the area to the Northwest of the job site corresponds to the Front of the site.

• At 1 foot: 06 blows (Reddish Clayey soil observed)
• At 2 feet: 08 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)
• At 3 feet: 08 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)
• At 4 feet: 08 blows (Reddish clayey soil observed)

The probe appears to be in good condition. Minor recommendations include removing dirt all over the beams. The reinforcement appears to be in satisfactory condition.
