Site Visit Report – Cottages at Villa Rica

An AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to monitor drilling and rock removal operations. The contractor performing the work was Precision Blasting.

Drilling Data:

Drilling operations took place today in the northwest corner of the development, south of Manhole A1 along the sewer line. The drilled patterns followed a trench formation with an 8-foot width and 6-foot hole spacing. A total of five laterals in trench pattern were drilled, spanning from Lot #40 down to Lot #37, including the laterals to the lots.

These efforts are part of Precision Blasting’s ongoing work to break up the trench rock section in the northwest corner of the development. All drilling appeared to have proceeded according to plan.
