Site Visit Report – Cottages at Villa Rica

An AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to monitor drilling and rock removal operations. The contractor performing the work was Precision Blasting.

Blasting Data:

Blasting operations took place today in the northwest corner, south of Manhole A1. A total of five laterals between Lot #40 and Lot #37 were blasted in a trench pattern. The total blasted area for all trench laterals was 912 square feet, with a calculated trench rock volume of 323.59 cubic yards. The average drilled hole depth was 9.58 feet.

These efforts are part of Precision Blasting’s ongoing work to break up the trench rock section in the northwest corner of the development. All drilling and blasting proceeded according to plan and met production standards.
