Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes and material submittals.  The following observations were observed on the site this day.

Upon arrival, the project site was observed to be too wet and muddy due to the one-inch rainfall from yesterday.

After conversation with the superintendent, he decided not to perform any backfilling, and elected to move topsoil.
