Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Observed the placement of fill/grading in various areas, spread by a 61Pxi Komatsu Bulldozer and compacted using a 815F CAT. Cutting continued from the adjacent roadway using a 349E CAT Excavator and hauling with two 745C dump trucks.  Compaction tests were performed using a nuclear density gauge.  General probing and proof-rolling were also performed to verify stability.  No severe pumping and/or rutting was observed.

The sewer line between Manhole G1 and F3 was backfilled and compacted today.
