Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Upon arrival on site, our representative found the site too wet to perform grading activities.  Following an attempt at fill placement and compaction, several density test results displayed high moisture contents (over 30%) with low compaction results.  After a discussion, the grading contractor decided to scarify and aerate surficial soils for the rest of the day.
