An AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to monitor drilling and rock removal operations. The contractor performing the work was Precision Blasting. The following observations were made on-site:

Blasting Data:

Today blasting operations took place in two different locations in the northwest corner of the development. The first was a mass rock pattern in-between lot #51 and #52. The total calculated area of was 336 square feet with a calculated rock volume of 82.63 cubic yards. The second was four trench laterals #138, #139, #187, and #188. The total blasted area was 744 square feet with a calculated rock volume of 124.82 cubic yards. These efforts are part of Precision Blasting’s ongoing work to break up the small trench rock and mass rock sections in the northeast corner of the Cottages at Villa Rica.
