Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Observed the placement of fill/grading for the Pickle Ball court today. Compaction tests were performed using a nuclear density gauge. Overall, the results of density testing found that fill compaction did not meet the project and ASTM requirements for compaction. In addition, proof-rolling displayed severe
pumping and rutting along the area. Recommended scarification and aeration of the wet subgrade prior to recompaction.
