Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On this date, our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (Buck Vinson).  The technician observed the blasting of residual hard rock for the installation of 18 inches of the HDPE storm line between the structures A-0 and A-1. The contractor began the excavation of loose blast materials from the trench. At this time, no testing was conducted, and all procedures appeared to be performed to job specifications.
