Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Work has continued behind Lots #225, #226, and #227. The contractor has made progress in the preparation of the retaining wall foundation.

Excavation was carried out using a Kobelco SK210H. The geo-grid has been installed across the excavated area, providing reinforcement for the subsequent stages of the retaining wall construction. On top of the geo-grid, a fiber sheet has been applied. Additionally, a granular stone base has been placed on top of the fiber sheet for additional stability, preparing the area for the next phases of construction. Lot #227 has a sewer line integrated into the retaining wall structure. The pipe has been excavated and installed at a depth below the stone grade cut level, specifically positioned 4 feet below the top of the retaining wall.
