Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (Wilbanks) for the observation of the installation of structure SSMH 1.0A near the approximate location of Lot #15. SSMH 1.0A was set to the approximate elevation of 745.4. The contractor excavated approximately 4 feet and filled approximately 3.5 feet with riprap and capped the riprap with No. 57 stone to the required elevation.

The technician also observed the installation of OCS by Lot #140. The OCS was filled in approximately 8-inch lifts and compacted. Compaction test showed approximately 95% to 98% compaction. All test results were provided to the contractor.
