Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our ASEC representative was on site and observed existing subgrade conditions for building Lots #104 thru #113 and recommending undercutting of saturated unsuitable topsoil.  It was recommended to undercut these lots 8 to 14 inches, removing organic debris and saturated topsoil and also to allow areas to aerate prior to placing additional fill (7′ to 11′ in these areas) starting with a thickened first lift.
