Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and material submittals. The following observations were made on site during the day:

• Excavation and backfilling activities were carried out.

• Excavation was performed at the site, and additional fill material was imported from an external source.

• Hauling of imported material was conducted using dump trucks, while on-site hauling was done using off-road trucks.

• Excavation operations were executed using a CAT 349E excavator, and a Komatsu 61Pxi bulldozer was used for spreading the fill.

• Compaction of the backfilled areas was conducted using a sheepfoot roller.

• Moisture and compaction tests were performed for all lots using a nuclear gauge. All test results indicated compaction levels exceeding the required specifications.

• A check plug test was also conducted to verify the correct Proctor value, confirming compliance with project requirements.
