Observations/Finding

As requested, a representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to conduct quality control inspections and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals.

Observations from the Site Visit:

1. Earthwork Activities: Work was in progress in the following areas:
   • Storm trench between MHC5 and MHC6.
   • Water line at the entrance.

Upon arrival, our representative observed active work on-site. However, the contractor did not bench back the trench or provide an iron safety box. As a result, the county inspector halted work for the day. Consequently, fill placement was not performed, and testing was not performed.
