Observations/Finding

As requested, a representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to provide quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and material submittals. The following observations were made on-site today:

• The placement and compaction of backfill for the outlet control structures in pond-1 and pond 2 continued.
• Upon arrival, our representative observed that pipe placement was in progress, with six-inch lifts being placed and compacted using jumping and trench compaction equipment. Compaction testing was performed along with general probing using a 3/8-inch diameter probe rod.
