Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date, the technician was onsite as requested by the contractor (CWM) for observation/testing of soils.

The technician met with the contractor (Payton Young of CMW) on site. The technician was escorted onto the airfield via ATLNext to the location of 10 28 west approach. The technician observed the contractors (CWM and KCCI) spread approximately 3 to 6 inches of topsoil and rake flat. The topsoil was then cultivated/compacted via tractor.

No samples or testing were performed at this time.
