Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals.

• Derek Miller (Manhattan – RFB)

• ATLNext

• QA (arrived after core activities commenced)

• P2K (Core Drilling)

Summary of Activities:

Upon arrival, an initial meeting was conducted with Derek Miller, representing Manhattan (RFB), and ATLNext. Quality Assurance (QA) personnel arrived later.

Three (3) seal cores were performed by P2K, with core locations selected and marked by Mr. Miller near Gate B9. The cores were as follows:

• Core #1: Type E expansion joint, measured at 2 ½ inches in thickness. (See attached photos for reference.)

• Core #2: Type C joint at dowel location, measured at ¼ inch thickness.

• Core #3: Type F joint, measured at ½ inch thickness.

Upon completion, all cores were handed over to 2MNext with QA.
