Observations/Finding

As requested, a representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to perform quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals. The following observations were made during the site visit:

Our representative observed a proof-roll and performed density testing on roadway this day.

A proof-roll was performed on the roadway before starting fill placement at 6 feet below finished grade in the front of Lot #80 and Lot #81 using a fully loaded tandem-axled dump truck. Multiple passes were made across the area. No significant yielding or deflection was observed during the proof-roll. One small approximate (18’x18′) area was recommended to be undercut 2 feet and replace with suitable fill.
