Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (Wilbanks) for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill.

The contractor stripped topsoil from the approximate Lots #141 through #150 and #177 through #170 area. This topsoil was placed in greenspace along the bank of Lots #64 through #79.

The technician observed a proof-roll, using a loaded tandem-axled dump truck, of Lots #141 through #150 and partially on Lots #177 through #174. These areas appeared stable. The contractor continued the lifts being placed on the location of Lots #155 through #157. The lifts were placed in approximately 8 to 12 inches in thickness and compacted via a sheep-foot roller. The contractor is slowly working their way to the Lot #150 area. The technician performed density testing in the areas that were ready for testing and provided all test results to the contractor.

The contractor continued installation of SSMH4.6 pipeline and structure SSMH4.6.

The contractor continued installation/backfill of pipeline to SSMH1.6.
