Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
Our ASEC representative was on site to observe curb repairs at Seven Hills for Azalea Drive. The writer observed the contractor compact an in-place GAB section previous repaired area on 7/24/25. Also reobserved remaining curb area at right side of street probing subgrade soils with a 3/8″ diameter probe rod and recommending a twelve foot section be undercut 12 inches and replaced with compacted GAB. The writer also observed repair measures followed by a concrete pour. The curb repair areas were between house numbers 302 and 276 totaling 113 feet that required replacement with a 3000 psi concrete curb mix for a total of 8 cubic yards. Also curb inlet catch basin at left side of road was observed with #4 rebar in place and was also poured.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
