Observations/Finding

As requested, a representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to perform quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with the project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals. During the site visit,

The contractor had prepared the slope area located to the east of Lot #92. The imported soil was evenly spread across the area and compacted using a dozer. In addition, the contractor installed a 24-inch by 24-inch slope drainage box, which is designed to receive gutter downspouts. An 8-inch corrugated HDPE E pipe was also installed within the slope area to support proper drainage. For erosion control and stabilization, pine straw was placed on the slope, and sod along with Bermuda grass was installed around House #92. The contractor also installed single-sided erosion control matting to further stabilize the area.
