Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date, the technician was onsite as requested by the contractor for observation/testing of soil.

Upon arrival to the site, it appeared the site was over saturated from previous rainfall. The contractor requested a moisture check. Moisture checks were found to be well above optimum moisture contents. The technician provided a copy of test results to the contractor.

The retaining wall appears to have approximate 2 feet of fill left to be at finished grade.
