Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested and observed the grading contractor continue placing fill for the building pads and roadway. Lots #37-47 were filled to finished subgrade today. A proof-roll was also performed for Lots #66-72. Some minor pumping was observed in Lots #71 & #72.  The contractor was informed and will be rechecked tomorrow. Density tests were performed using a Troxler nuclear gauge model3430, serial no. 38069.  Results are attached.  Note, some moisture contents were checked periodically and found that the in-situ moisture of fill placed were much higher than optimum.
