Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (Wilbanks) for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. The contractor placed lifts of approximately 8-12 inches and compacted via a sheep-foot roller. Fill was placed on Lot #170. The contractor placed topsoil in greenspace areas located along Lots #172 and #173. Our representative density tested the structural fill placed on Lot #170 and provided test results to the contractor.

Our ASEC representative met with the paving crew and county officials to perform a proof-roll of the main entrance and partially of phase 1 roadways. The paving crew and county officials agreed that the proof-roll displayed no signs of significant pumping and/or rutting.
