Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
At the request of the client’s representative, AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative Amin Azimi visited the job site to observe and monitor the contractor’s work activities from a quality assurance standpoint. The purpose of the visit was to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals, as well as to conduct quality control testing in accordance with project requirements.
Concrete placement for Runway 3R-21L was performed throughout the night. Approximately 800 cubic yards of concrete was placed and four rounds of field tests were performed. All tests for slump, concrete temperature, air temperature, air content and unit weight were found to be within job specification range.
Moreover, three data loggers were installed at regular distance for temperature controlling of the concrete.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service on this project. Should you have any questions regarding this report, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be pleased to discuss our findings further.
