Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative of AS Engineering & Consulting was on site to observe proof-rolling of the entrance and exit drives’ subgrades after a rain event on 9/21/25. The subgrade soils were observed using a loaded tandem dump truck making two passes over all areas and probing deficient areas with a rounded end steel rod with the members from NWGP(paving) and the Paulding County inspector present. Starting at the north end temporary culdesac and area of approximately 230′ in length by 50′ in width was identified. Several isolated deficient areas were designated for remediation by clipping -3″ to -6″ to be replaced by additional GAB stone. One isolated area had three small rock drill voids which was recommended to be filled with #89 stone. See attached pictures and sketch for approximate deficient areas.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
