Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

During the night concrete placement of 3R-21L Runway was performed and a total of 1130 yards of concrete was placed.

The concrete was batched from the temporary CWM mixer plant at the PDK Airport.

Five sampled tests at random intervals were performed to check the concrete & air, temperatures, slump, air content and unit weight.  Results show that concrete placed were within job specification ranges.
