Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative of AS engineering was on site to observe exploratory excavations to locate the existing colonial gas pipelines crossing Seven Hills Boulevard at two locations.  The HVAC contractor SHV (Southern Hydro Vac) performed the excavations which was also observed by a member from Colonial Pipeline, these were the findings listed below.

Location #1 = N1462805.219 E2106494.754, pipe encountered at elevation 940.61 (-7.9′) below existing grade.

Location #2 = N1462819.854 E2106509.812, pipe encountered at elevation 940.346 (-8.7′) below existing grade. The excavations were refilled with soil after observations were made and the sod replaced.  The locations were established by Gaskins LeCraw survey team.
