Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative to observe the grading contractor continue fill placement and compacting efforts for the building pads. The writer observed proof-rolling of completed building Lots #23, 24, 25, 26, 20, 19, 10 and 9. The proof-roll was observed using a loaded off-road rock dump truck making two passes over all areas. The subgrade soils appeared stable under traffic with no apparent movement. The proof-rolls appeared to verify subgrade stability suitable for the placement of fill. Density tests will be performed tomorrow with observation of the remaining completed lots. The writer also observed Advance Drilling contractor on site continuing drilling at east side road embankment.
