Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our ASEC representative was on site with Paulding County officials observing previous placed asphalt base material at the drive exit for Seven Hills Amenities. The in-place base asphalt paving did not appear to match existing concrete curb grades. Paulding County requested depth checks of the in-place base mix at several locations along curb line by saw cutting. Saw cuts were performed at three locations with the following results:
