Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals.

Summary of Activities:

ASEC was scheduled by C.W. Matthews to meet with ABC Cutters and Holder for the purpose of drilling seal cores in the designated area, beginning at Gate 33 and proceeding around the building as indicated in the project drawing.

No representative from Holder was present on site at the time of the scheduled activity.

A total of seven (7) core samples were successfully drilled by ABC Cutters. The core sizes were measured and recorded as follows:

1. ½”

2. 7/16″

3. 7/16″

4. ½”

5. 3/8″

6. 7/16″

7. ½”

All samples were provided to C.W. Matthews for further analysis or recordkeeping.

No further observations were made during the site visit.
