Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
Excavation and installation continued today at the Cassville Road tract for the French drain (“burrito wrap”) project. The crew cleared the site and began a new installation at Point B7 as indicated on the project plans. Activities included excavation, pipe installation, and trench backfilling, consistent with previous sections. Excavated materials were stockpiled away from the trench edge, and gravel bedding was densified prior to pipe placement. A surveyor was present on-site to establish new control points at Points A and B for the upcoming drainage lines shown in the revised plan. A new reference point was also set at C3 to guide alignment for the newly planned pipe direction. All installation work was performed in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
