Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
Excavation and installation continued today at the Cassville Road tract for the French drain (“burrito wrap”) project. At Point B5, the crew cut into the existing pipe and installed a new T-section connection leading toward B5.2. A short piece of pipe was cut and attached to the T-section to achieve the required angle for the new line direction. Excavation, pipe installation, and backfilling operations were completed along the section from B5 to B5.2 and B5.3.
Following completion of that section, the crew moved to Point B4, where the existing pipe was cut to install another T-joint in accordance with the updated design plan and installed pipes.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
