Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Excavation and installation continued today at the Cassville Road tract for the French drain (“burrito wrap”) project. Work continued at the midpoint of Point C3. The crew cleared the site area and excavated the soil to the required depth. Gravel was placed at the base, followed by the installation of pipe. Additional gravel was placed on top of the pipe, then covered with plastic sheeting. The trench was backfilled with soil and compacted. No groundwater or slope instability was observed at the time of excavation.
