Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Work continued on the wood formwork, with reinforcing steel (rebar) installed inside the formwork. The crew also placed riprap for erosion control in front of the precast concrete block, using rock approximately 6–12 inches in size.

At Buildings #22, #23, and #24, work proceeded according to the new plan. The crew cut into the existing pipe, installed T-joints, and connected new pipes at each building location.

Later, work continued at point C3 in the northeast direction, where the crew cut the existing pipe and installed a new pipe extending toward Building 48.

Meanwhile, another crew excavated soil at SD3-B to form the pond area and placed fill material between Buildings #15 and #19. A total of three lifts, each approximately 7–8 inches thick, were placed and compacted.
