Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
Work started at both RCP locations, where the crew removed the formwork, backfilled the soil, and compacted the area using a jumping jack compactor.
The crew then cleared the site between Buildings #45 and #47 and compacted the SD3-B pond trench slopes on both the inside and outside.
At the SD3-A pond, two pond drainage access structures were constructed to facilitate stormwater flow. In addition, a crew from the erosion control company sprayed green hydroseed mixture on the inside and outside slopes of the SD3-A pond trench using a hydroseeder truck, and straw erosion control blankets were installed along one side of the trench to stabilize the slope.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
