Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue to place fill for the slope embankment and building Lots#39, 38 and 37 at unit 4 phase 3. The fill was placed in compacted lifts and density tests were performed using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model 3430, serial no. 91643. Compaction results met job specifications at elevations -14′ and -13′. Hard rock was encountered at Lot #38 and was being broken up using the excavator bucket. The blasting contractor wasn’t on site today.
