Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative was on site to observe the pipe contractor excavate and install water line casings at Naturewalk parkway to phase 1B. The work was cancelled due to existing elevations of storm and sewer lines in place. The contractor backfilled a 30″ RCP storm line between structures D9 and D10. Density tests were performed using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model3430, serial no. 91643. Compaction results were suitable for job specifications. The contractor also installed 18′ of RCP storm line between structure D10 and D17.
Clean up and removing of washed silt off subbase stone between sanitary sewer manholes #6 and 9 continued today.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
