Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue to place fill for building Lots #37, 36 and 35. The fill was placed in compacted lifts and density tests were performed using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model 3430, serial no. 91643. Compaction results were in compliance with job specifications.

The pipe contractor continued installing 8″ PVC sanitary sewer line to manhole structure #13 and also continued from structure #13 installing 8″ DIP sanitary sewer line. The contractor installed 162′ of 8″ PVC sewer pipe between structures # 13 and #12. Also installed 40′ of 8″ DIP between structures # 13 and #14. The contractor was able to dig weathered rock on today without using hammer.
