Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor (NG Grading) for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill.

The grading crew continued placement of fill on the front yards of Lots #42 through #50 and #85 through #92. The fill was placed in approximately 1-foot lifts and compacted with a sheep-foot roller. Density testing was performed and test results were provided to the contractor.

The wall crew continued installation of retaining wall #2. Lifts were placed in approximately 8-to-12-inch lifts and compacted using a vibrating sheep-foot roller. Density testing was performed and test results were provided to the contractor.

The pipe crew continued installation of SSMH 1.8 to SSMH 1.9 and AA-7 to AA-8. Density testing was performed and test results were provided to the contractor.

The contractor is shutting down early today to begin rain prep for the site due to forecasted showers this weekend.
