Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

The crew began backfilling operations for Lots #39 and 40. Fill was placed in lifts approximately 6 to 8 inches thick. Each lift was spread and graded using a crawler dozer and compacted using a sheep-foot roller.

At areas 1030 and 1040, topsoil was placed, spread, and leveled to match the required grades and slope elevations. The material was then compacted using a sheep-foot roller, with the crawler dozer assisting in shaping, leveling, and maintaining uniform lift thickness.
