Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On this day, the contractor began placing topsoil in previously excavated areas for Lot #28 nearer to the road. The purpose of this activity was to restore surface grades and prepare the area for final grading. No structural fill operations were performed during this time.

Topsoil was placed and spread evenly across the designated areas using the appropriate equipment. As this material is intended for surface cover and not structural support, no compaction testing or nuclear density gauge testing was required per project specifications. The placement was visually observed.
