Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor backfilling poured curb at Nature Walk Boulevard between sanitary sewer manholes #6 and 9.

The pipe contractor continued excavating and installing 30″ RCP storm line between manholes #B5 and B6. The backfill was observed being placed in compacted lifts and was probed using a rounded end steel rod. The compacted efforts were suitable for project compaction requirements.

The blasting contractor (Advance) made a blast shot today at Lots #43 and44. A drill log is attached.

The paving contractor continued subgrade repair at Nature Walk Boulevard between manholes #6 and 9 by undercutting and replacing with GAB stone. The undercut varied between -6″ and -24″.

The water line contractor continued installing 8″ ductile waterline at Nature Walk Boulevard between sanitary sewer manholes #9 and 10.

We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
