Crew continued earthwork operations on Lots #6 and 48. Backfill material was placed in lifts of approximately 6–8 inches thickness and spread evenly using a crawler bulldozer. Each lift was compacted using both a sheep-foot roller and a Caterpillar 815 compactor. Results of compaction testing were reported to the contractor.

In the neighboring Buford area, the crew excavated a trench to the required depth and prepared the base for pipe installation. No. 57 stone was placed to provide a stable bedding layer. Following this, an approximately 11-foot-long ductile iron pipe (DIP) was installed and connected to the previously installed pipe. Additional No. 57 stone was then placed around the pipe prior further backfilling activities.
